May 11 - Reports of Channel Cat biting well recently.  We now have shinners, suckers, fatheads, leeches, and more. 

May 10th - Lots of White Bass reported at the dam in the last few days and still a few Walleyes reported.  A few stripers have been calught but remember they are catch and release until June 15.

April 28, 2012 - Report of 15 Small Mouth caught and released near the Oregon dam mid week on minnows.

April 27, 2012 - A few reports of White Bass caught this week near the dam as well as a few Walleye though they are few and far between.  Mid week reports back to the shop have also been scarce this week.  Share your reports even if you don't want to share the exact spot you were fishing.

Rock River Outfitters Firearms Transfer Policy

Rock River Outfitters does handle transfers from other dealers.  Interstate firearms can only ship to an FFL holder.  Rock River Outfitters will fax or email the license to the seller or you can mail a copy of Rock River Outfitters FFL with your payment.  A 24 hour waiting period on long guns and 72 hours on hand guns begins when you complete the Federal form number 4473. We will notify you when the firearm arrives at Rock River Outfitters.
There is a $25.00 transfer fee for used guns and a $50.00 fee for current model guns that are available thru our distributors.

Please note many times we can match new gun prices, just ask.

Hoo Haven to Release Owls at Rock River Outfitters

HooHaven HeaderStop by at Rock River Outfitters Saturday, October 8 at 2 pm and see the release of two young great horned owls.  Hoo Haven will be releasing these beautiful birds back into natural habitat at Rock River Outfitters.  This is a great opportunity to see the birds up close before they fly away.

You can help Hoo Haven with donations of the following.  If you can not stop by on Saturday they pick up items each Tuesday morning at Rock River Outfitters.

"Hoo" Haven is looking for donations of much needed items. If you or your groups, whether they be church, school or businesses would like to help we would appreciate it.

30 Gallon garbage bags, nuts, nuts and more nuts.  we are housing alot of squirrels  In the shell out of the shell , little bags big bags they all add up, Hamster food for our famous educational rats  Indiana Jones and Cookie, birds seed as we back up feed everywhere, Paper towels. scrubbing dobie pads,
putty knives (metal:  we scrape alot of bird stuff off perches), \small rakes, dust pans, different size leaches, bunge cords, tie wraps. If you are not sure call, if we can not use it we will tell you and if we can we will be grateful.

Deer meat, fish, beef if you are cleaning out your freezer.

Any help you can give us would be appreciated. When you have a collection call and we will set up a time for you to come out and see where it is going or we can try to arrange a pick up.
